Kungiyar agaji ta Red Cross (ICRC) ta bayyana cewa yunwa na kara yawa a arewa maso gabas na Najeriya, musamman a jihohin Borno, Adamawa da Yobe, inda fiye da mutane miliyan 3.7 ke fuskantar matsananciyar rashin abinci.

Rikicin da ya gabata shekaru 16 ya kawo cikas ga kasuwanci da hanyoyin samun aiki, yana tilastawa mutane dogaro da ƙananan gonaki don rayuwa.

A Dikwa, manoma na fuskantar kalubale wajen yin noma, inda suke tashi da safiya suna yawo mai tsawo kafin su koma gida bayan sun yi aiki na ‘yan awanni.

Churi Ibrahim, tsohon manomi dan shekara 70, ya bayyana cewa farashin abinci yana dab da tashin gwauron zabi, kuma kudin da yake samu da dare ba ya isheshi da iyalansa guda goma.

Modu Umar, wani shugaban al’umma, ya ga cewa yunwa na haddasa cututtuka kamar gudawa a cikin yara da manya saboda rashin abinci da magani.

“Mutane na fita nesa suna tara itace domin samun kudin siyan abinci,” in ji shi.

ICRC ta fara wani shiri na taimakawa akan noma ta hanyar raba iri da kayan aikin noma ga sama da iyalai 21,000 a wannan shekarar, domin tallafa musu a lokacin kaka da rani.

Hakanan suna shirin rarraba famfunan ban-ruwa masu aiki da hasken rana domin noman rani.

Shugabar ofishin ICRC a Maiduguri, Diana Japaridze, ta bayyana fargabar lokacin Ƙarancin abinci daga Yuli zuwa Satumba, inda mutane ke buƙatar sayen abinci, amma Ƙarancin kudi na hana su biyan bukatunsu.

Wata uwa mai yara biyar, Bintu Konto, ta ce: “Wasu lokuta muna kwana da yunwa har kwana biyu zuwa uku. Idan Allah ya kawo wani abu, sai mu ci.”

ICRC na aiki a Borno tun 2012, inda take taimakawa al’ummomin da rikici ya shafa da kuma kare martabar fararen hula bisa dokokin Geneva na 1949.
